Goodmorning...

So I had a nice blog going, and then bam! it was gone! I guess I hit a wrong button and the whole thing disappeared! Which doesn't make me happy at all. I started to talk about my trip I just went on to the Keys. It was a nice trip with Zach and his family was there too. We stayed at a timeshare on Lower Matecumbe Key, just south of Islamorada. It was ruff all week so we mainly went inshore fishing on the bayside. I caught a 14" mangrove snapper and a Bonit shark! Both were a good fight! The last day we went to the reef and I was beautiful! Zach and the boys speared plently of hog fish and some other stuff I don't eat! lol On Wednesday evening we went to Whale Harbour, which is a seafood buffet. All you can eat for $30! It's a little pricey, but considering I ate about 50 crablegs, I think I got my monies worth!! lol



Other than that, I'm still working at Bass Pro full-time. I like it there and I wouldn't mind doing it for a while, but the pay is horrible! You'd think Johnny Morris wouldn't be so cheap considering the empire he's built! lol So since the pay I get now won't cover the bills that I want (a nice truck and a nice apartment) I figure it's about time I went back to school! Now, I do have some basic skills I need to refresh in my memory and then October 26th classes start! I will be going to Sheridan Votech and taking Surgical Technology courses. Some might say "It's about time!", but I say, "It's time!" I'm excited, but a little nervous, because that's also one more bill!

That's pretty much the big news right now. Hunting season starts the end of August, so I'll be busy with that and trying to get into school! I'm excited for the next few months!!!
P.S.~ one other big news is that I quit smoking!!!! Yay for me! I have been using Nicorette gum... it works!

My Day Off and more...

Today was a nice day off of work. I slept in and then went shopping with my giftcard to Forever 21 that Jamie and Kailee got me for my birthday. I got 3 very cute shirts and a nice jacket. I actually spent a little over my giftcard amount but i think it was totally worth it.

Aunt Joy and Uncle Gordon were in town this past week. It was nice to see them again. The family all got together at Grandma's so everyone could see them and baby Reese! It was a nice evening and Grandma cooked some mean chicken! (that means it was very good for you old timers!) lol I took a few pictures but I haven't uploaded them yet... but I'll keep you posted.

Lets play catch-up!

So I started a blog and never paid any attention to it because I didn't have much to write! Mean-while a lot was going on... but nothing that I would consider interesting or big news to the rest of you. I guess we can start with last night... I'm FINALLY 21!! Yesterday was my birthday and I want to thank mom and dad for a great dinner and my new costas, teddy and teresa for the cute new shirts and the Grulich's and almost Spargo's (lol) for the gift certificate! and Grandma and Grandpa for the card. I had a really nice time out at the Japanese Village where the family (that could be there) sat around a hibatchi table and had an amazing meal followed by a singing of happy birthday and the waiter brought me out some fried bananas and ice-cream! And since I am 21 I had to have a drink so I went with the Appletini. After dinner and presents, Zach and I went to Shenanigans to meet up with a few of our friends. We had a good old time! And tonight we are going to round-up ladies night to continue the celebration! lol I think I am more excited about tonight than I was about last night! Anywho... thats the big news and i think my 2nd blog! lol Well, Happy Birthday to Me!

New Years and more....

New Years was a blast. I know it's not New Years day, but I've been kind of busy and didn't have a computer with internet until last night. (the router wouldn't work for everyone when it was attached to my computer so i just got wireless!) Anyways, back to New Years... I spent it over at Ben's house - who is Zach's brothers. The whole family minus Rachel was there. It was a good time. We lit huge fireworks and I alomst blew the house up, but thankfully everyone was laughing... kinda! lol

Since then, I've just been working and hanging out with family. We had a family dinner last night over at Zach's, but me and Zach ate after everyone else. It's always nice t osee everyone though. Nancy, Zach's mom, made a huge dinner including Ham, pineapple cassorole, homeade mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, and baked beans. It was so yummy. For dessert she made a pumpkin bread with a cream cheese middle... i haven't eaten my piece yet because i was so stuffed last night!

January 3rd was my mom's birthday... HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!



Today, me and mom we're supposed to go shopping at the Boynton mall, but someone decided to go into labor last night, so all things cancelled for today! But it's exciting because Kailee just had Kinley on Dacember 19, 2008 and now I'm going to have my other neice born pretty soon!

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas Everyone!! This is officially my first blog, but it has to be short because I have to get ready to go to Grandma's house! This morning was great! We opened all of our gifts and had a really good breakfast- thanks Teresa! One of my gifts was a new wireless keyboard and mouse, which i am using for this blog! I also got cute new shirts and dresses!! Thanks to all who got me something! So far there hasn't been anything i didn't like, but I still have to get the Aunt's gifts! lol Just kidding!! Also, kudos to Zach for my Browning bracelet. That boy did good! : ) The only bad thing about this Christmas was that my mom wasn't here to celebrate it with us, but she'll be home soon enough! I miss you mom!! Well, I got to run, but Merry Christmas to all!
